Our mission goes beyond responding to calls.

Since 1956 the United Yuma Firefighters have been active in protecting our community both on and off the emergency scene. We are proud to serve the Yuma community with professionalism, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to safety.

Our mission goes beyond responding to calls — we strive to protect, educate, and support our neighbors while upholding the highest standards of service. Through teamwork, ongoing training, and strong community partnerships, we work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone we serve.

Your firefighters put their lives on the line every day to ensure the residents of the greater Yuma area remain safe. We work day in and day out to ensure your calls for help are answered – no matter the size or scope of the problem. When we're not on duty, we're proud to give back to this city through food drives, scholarships and a host of partnerships with local charities. Our members are honored to serve Yuma, Somerton and San Luis and give back to the community that we have taken an oath to protect.
